Safety guidelines
Medical Disclaimer & Terms of Service
Please read this before you start. Your safety comes first, and no program or post here is more important than getting proper care when you need it.
1. What this community is
This community provides education and support based on medical guidelines. It is not individual medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not replace a consultation with your own doctor. Nobody here, including me, can examine you or see your medical history through a post.
2. Get emergency help now
Call your local emergency number or go to the nearest emergency department if you have:
- Chest pain or pressure, especially with sweating, breathlessness, or pain spreading to the arm or jaw
- Difficulty breathing
- Signs of a stroke: face drooping, arm weakness, slurred speech, sudden confusion, or sudden severe headache
- Severe bleeding, vomiting blood, or black tarry stools
- Fainting or loss of consciousness
- Severe or sudden abdominal pain
- Swelling of the face, lips, or throat, or a severe allergic reaction
- Thoughts of harming yourself or others
Do not post about an emergency and wait for a reply. This community is not monitored around the clock.
3. See your own doctor promptly
Book an appointment soon if you notice:
- Unintentional weight loss
- Blood in your stool, urine, or cough
- A persistent fever
- A new lump or swelling
- Symptoms that wake you at night
- New symptoms after age 50
- Symptoms that are getting worse, or not improving after a few weeks of following your program
- Persistent low mood, anxiety, or trouble coping
4. Before you change anything
- Never stop or change a prescribed medicine on your own. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist first.
- Check with your doctor before starting supplements, herbal products, or major diet changes if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a chronic condition, take regular medicines, have a weakened immune system, are over 65, or have a history of an eating disorder.
- Children and teenagers need their own doctor's guidance. These programs are designed for adults.
- Change one thing at a time and track the result. If you feel worse, stop the change and speak to a doctor.
- Avoid extreme diets, "detoxes," and cleanses.
5. Mental health support
If you feel hopeless, overwhelmed, or unsafe, reach out to a doctor, a trusted person, or a crisis line right away. Please do not wait for a community reply.
6. Community rules
- Be kind and respectful. Everyone is here for their own health reasons.
- Do not give medical advice or diagnoses to other members. Share experience, not instructions ("this helped me," not "you should").
- Protect privacy: do not share other people's information, and share your own only at the level you're comfortable with.
- No selling, promoting products, or unproven remedies.
- No graphic photos or content.
- Report concerns.
7. How to use the programs safely
- Use your tracker and bring it to your own doctor if you need an assessment.
- Follow the program order, and give it enough time (usually 2-6 weeks) before judging results.
- Programs are not a substitute for screening, vaccinations, or routine check-ups.
8. Quick decision guide
- Emergency symptoms → call emergency services now
- Any red flag or worsening symptoms → book your own doctor promptly
- No red flags and mild symptoms → follow your program, track, and review at 4-6 weeks
- Not improving, or unsure → see your own doctor
Educational content only. Not a substitute for medical examination or diagnosis. Seek prompt medical care if you have any warning signs.
